Step 1: lead in What can you see in the picture? (some bird and wetlands) Step 2: pre-reading Show two short videos about Zhalong Nature Reserve. What do you think about Zhalong? (beautiful, a great place, many birds live there happily) Step 3: while-reading 1. Read para 1 and complet a profile about Zhalong. 2. Match the main ideas with the five paragraphs 3. Read para 2 and learn about special birds. Further thinking: What’s special about birds in Zhalong? (There are large numbers of different kinds of birds in Zhalong. Birds there aren't afraid of people.) 4. Work in pairs and make up a dialogue. (read para1 and 2)
5. Read para 3 and learn about special problems. 6. Read para 4-5 and learn about special actions. Divide the actions into different groups. Step 4: post-reading 1. Work in pairs and try to come up with more ideas to complete the mindmap. 2. If we go to Zhalong, what should we do? Work in groups of four and finish the mindmap. 3. Watch a video about the relationship between humans and the wetlands. What can we learn from this lesson? Birds are part of our lives. Wetlands are part of our earth. Protecting them is protecting ourselves. Step 5: Homework 1. Retell the text we read today. 2. Read to know more about wetlands and draw a mind map. 3. Design a poster about Zhalong to call on more people to protect birds and wetlands.

课主要是引领学生围绕单元主题:观鸟-湿地-环境-保护措施等展开深入浅出的学习活动;教授学生一些阅读的基本技巧,提高学生的阅读能力。围绕话题和课题研究的目的,我积极探索教材教法,大胆尝试从伸出入手,全面更新课堂教学改革理念。就整过过程来看,教学比较顺利,师生互动、生生互动活动开展的不错,课堂氛围较好,时间把握到位,学生的阅读能力能得到一定的训练和提高。更让人欣慰的是,通过学习和问题的不断深入,学生能积极进行深度思考,他们的语言输出中能体现学有所用。 | ||||||||
